Teriparatide
Teriparatide (PTH 1-34)
Teriparatide is the active 1–34 fragment of parathyroid hormone, the body's own regulator of calcium and bone turnover. Where the full hormone in excess drives bone loss, this fragment is notable for the opposite: when delivered intermittently rather than continuously, it is associated in research with net bone formation. That paradox has made it one of the most studied anabolic agents for the skeleton.
