TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4 fragment)

TB-500 is a synthetic peptide corresponding to the active region of Thymosin Beta-4, one of the most abundant proteins inside mammalian cells. Thymosin Beta-4 is concentrated in platelets and released within seconds at sites of injury, which is why its fragment has become a focus of tissue-repair research. TB-500 carries the short sequence at the heart of that activity.
