Sermorelin
Sermorelin (GHRH 1-29)
Sermorelin is a 29-amino-acid peptide representing the active N-terminal fragment of human growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH 1-29), the shortest fragment that retains full GHRH activity. It was approved by the FDA in 1997 to assess and support growth-hormone function in children before being withdrawn for commercial reasons in 2008. Today it is studied as a way to prompt the body's own pituitary to release growth hormone.
