PNC28 (p53-derived membrane-active peptide)

PNC28 is a p53-derived peptide closely related to PNC27, combining a fragment of the tumour-suppressor protein p53 (residues 17–26) with a penetratin membrane-penetrating sequence. It is an early-stage compound examined only in anticancer research models. It has not been approved for any use and is of interest solely for the selective mechanism observed in the laboratory.
