PHDP5 (Dihexa-related cognitive peptide)

PHDP5 is a small synthetic peptide developed at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) and studied for its effect on synaptic function — the way neurons pass signals to one another. Rather than acting as a general stimulant, it targets a very specific, early breakdown in how brain cells recycle the machinery they use to communicate. It is offered here as a nasal spray, the delivery route used in the original research.
