Bronchogen (Ala-Glu-Asp-Leu)

Bronchogen is a synthetic tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Leu, AEDL), part of the Khavinson family of tissue-specific bioregulators developed to target the bronchial epithelium — the cellular lining of the airways. It was designed by analysing peptide fractions from bronchial mucosa tissue. Research has examined its effects on airway lining cells and in animal models of lung pathology.
