N-acetyl Semax amidate (ACTH 4-10 analogue)

AC-Semax is a dual-modified form of Semax, a synthetic heptapeptide based on a small active fragment of ACTH — a natural hormone — engineered to keep its cognitive properties while shedding its hormonal ones. The N-acetyl and amidate caps protect both ends of the molecule, making it the most enzyme-resistant Semax variant and giving it a longer working life. Semax has one of the deeper evidence bases among Russian-developed neuropeptides and is studied as a nootropic and neuroprotective agent.
