AC-KPV

AC-KPV

N-acetyl KPV amidate (Lys-Pro-Val, α-MSH fragment)

AC-KPV is a tiny three-amino-acid peptide — lysine, proline, valine — carried over from the tail end of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH), one of the body's most potent natural anti-inflammatory signals. Researchers found that this short fragment retains much of the parent hormone's calming activity while shedding the parts responsible for pigmentation and other hormonal effects. The acetylated, amidated form (Ac-KPV-NH₂) is studied as a focused, stable version of that anti-inflammatory core.
